We would like to welcome you to Ecopelagicon Nature Store. We are located in the heart of the town of Rangeley, Maine. The Gateway to The Rangeley Lakes. Our store is on the shore of Haley Pond in the center of town. The Ecopelagicon is at 7 Pond Street.

When
in the area, you will not want to miss a trip to our store! If
you enjoy seeing some of the finest crystal clear lakes, you will
want to stop in and rent one of our Kayaks so that you can see
the great Maine outdoors as it was many years ago when the Rangeley
area was home to our great trail finders.

With a Kayak, you can explore for yourself our chain of seven lakes, where there are many streams and connecting waterways. The area lakes include Rangeley Lake, Mooselookmeguntic Lake, Cupsuptic Lake, Upper Richardson and Lower Richardson Lakes, Kennebago Lake and Umbagog Lake. All local waters offer excellent paddling for the beginner and expert. When you are on the water with one of our Kayaks, you will find it very common to see the great Maine Moose, Deer, Cranes and Herons, you can also explore our many coves and islands found throughout the Rangeley area. |

carry some of the safest Kayaks available, the Boreal Design
and Perception. We rent Kayaks by the Day or by
the Week. We also sell our Kayaks and Car Carriers so you can
also enjoy Kayaking when you go back to your home.

Our store has a great selection of paddles from Bending Branches, they come in many different styles. You will surely need a Life Jacket/Personal Flotation Device. So stop in and see the outdoors as it is intended to be! |

While you are out on the water, you will want one of our great maps. We have Raised Topographical Maps and Depth Maps to our many lakes. If you enjoy Fishing, we have world-class Landlocked Salmon and Brook Trout in our many lakes. When in our store, check out our Hand Tied Flys, tied by one of our local residents. When you come into our store, you will notice that we are a Real Nature Store. We carry a very large selection of Maine outdoor books that feature Candle Making, Chair Caining and Weaving, Growing an Herbal Garden, Downeast Recipe Cookbook as well as Cooking Duck and Geese and of course you will want the Maine Freshwater Cookbook, we know you will want to prepare the fish you will catch on your trip.
