| Carter's X-C Ski and Kayak Center is located on Route 26 in Oxford, Maine. 1 mile South of Oxford Plains Speedway. We specialize in everything river related and all of the accessories so you can customize your Kayak or Canoe. If you are new to Kayaking or just looking for more information, feel free to stop in, and we will be happy to assist you. | |

| Our Kayaks and Canoes will serve you for years, even as your skill improve and you demand more from your Kayak. When you stop by, you will see that we have a large selection of Paddles and Oars. You will also find a great selection of Floatation Vests, we carry all sized for adults and children. |

| When you're on the water, sand or rocky beach, you will want to check out our Holey Shoes. They are made of cell-foam and are light weight and vented so water and sand does not stay in your shoes. These shoes are excellent for swimming, now you can walk on rocky beaches with no discomfort, easy to clean and wash out after use. |

For those of you that enjoy our great Maine winters, you will want to check out our line of Skis. We have one of Maine's largest X-C Ski inventories with expert people to help you choose the proper equipment. We carry Fisher, Rossignol, Peltonen, Madshus, Atomic and V2 Roller Skis. Our Boot selection consists of names like Saloman, Alpina, Rossignol, Fisher and Sportful. |

Now you will need Ski Poles to help you out on the trail while cross-country skiing. We carry Exel, Rossignol, and Swix. Snowshoes are a must! We carry Atlas, Yuba and Great Canadian. |
